TRIESTE – AJDOVŠČINA – ZAGREB – LIVORNO
New deadline to register for the International Prize of Contemporary Art LYNX 2016 organized by the Associazione Culturale Il Sestante: July 6, 2016.
The competition is open to artists of all nations, there are no age limits and the subject is free. This year there are 4 competition categories : painting, photography, digital art and graphic art.
The 50 finalist artworks will participate in 4 exhibitions hosted in some important Art Galleries, starting in September 2016 until March 2017. There will be 2 exhibitions in Italy (Trieste, Lux Art Gallery and Livorno, Fortezza Nuova), one in Slovenia (Ajdovščina, Lokarjeva Galerija) and one in Croatia (Zagreb, Galerija Zvonimir).
A bilingual catalog containing pictures and texts related to the Prize will be released.
After careful consideration the Jury, made of 15 international experts and professionals, will announce the absolute winners who will be awarded during the award ceremony in Trieste on September 25, 2016.
Artists will have more than one chance to be awarded, since there will also be 12 Special Prizes assigned, a prize dedicated to the best Under21 artist and a new prize, offered by the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
