"BACKLIGHT" - Marjan Fahimi solo exhibition

April 18, 2015 at 18.00 .Sala Orsini at the Hall of the Palazzo Chigi in Formello , inaugurates the first Italian solo exhibition of Marjan Fahimi by Title " BACKLIGHT " .
The exhibition is curated by Vinicio Prizia who writes : " Marjan Fahimi , Iranian artist , presents in this exhibition of Formello the result of the work of the past few years , an acknowledgment of her life path . in these works , the subjects are mainly characterized by landscapes, views that highlight the main foundations of atmospheric phenomena : air, wind , clouds , rain , water, electricity , land . Dreamlike visions of a scenario in which the naturalistic component , characterized by a large , compelling poetry , is enchanted by nature and life . This art made of painting , promises a research of mixed emotions but also reveals a survey on the substance.
Marjan , seducted by the color component , emphasizes the charm of the sign , energetic expressive traits that stand in the foreground and cite organic elements , plant , but also man-made objects , fingerprints sometimes abstract , strong on landscapes that bring with perseverance to the elements of the sky and earth, where human presence is painted in the distance , left alone , behind , at the ends of the bottom scene . These are suggestions of a theatrical existential witness on which are deposited as in dreams , light , delicate and refined veils of color ; these layers , the artist applies them on a fund drawn , scratched , formed in a substrate in relief , which is stood out from the various steps of pictorial nuances."
