The Rome Chamber Music Festival, founded by Robert McDuffie, is one of Rome’s most anticipated cultural events. This year the festival celebrates its 12th season, which will take place June 7th to June 11th. The concert program will present 34 world-renowned artists playing classical and contemporary chamber music masterpieces by Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Spohr, Adams, Glass, Pärt, and Martucci and famed cinema composers. The festival’s artists will coach and perform in concert with the 19 emerging musicians selected to participate in its Young Artist Program. Silvia Azzoni and Oleksandr Ryabko, principal dancers from the Hamburg Ballet, will be featured during the June 7 and June 8 concerts. Open rehearsals, at Palazzo Barberini and Domus Romana, will begin June 4th.
