The project:
"WoMen in Africa - nocolor One Color" - n. 56 photos
The pictures of Gilberti have created an International Itinerant during the 2011 - International Year for People of African descent.
The initiative embraces two continents Africa-Europe (from Milan to Nairobi from Malindi to Arengario Monza) will create meeting and awareness to foster better understanding and respect for the diversity of the cultural heritage of people of African descent .
Gilberti brings out the poetry of Africa as the Garden of Eden with its color photographs able to excite and let us retrieve the right size of ourselves, figures against: whites or blacks all have the same skin color, signifying the ' equality of man in different races. "Each of us has a heritage, a history and an identity that are influenced by the context in which it is born and lives, not by skin color"
"Nocolor One Color, That of the Soul" - "No color. One color, one of the Soul"
The project is divided into six chapters: Eden building, origin, meeting people, aMare, soul.
The event included in the calendar of the 'UN - Human Rights (UN High Commissioner Navi Pillay) has been authorized to use its emblem and had the support of: Ministry of Foreign Affairs Embassy of Italy in Kenya, Council Lombardy Region, the Province of Milan, Varese and Monza and Monza Municipality
