The art gallery Salvatore Serio is pleased to host, from May 5 to 13, 2017, Angeli's personal show by Fabio Spataro.
Son of Art, Fabio Spataro has always lived in a family atmosphere full of artistic stimuli. When the family from the Sicilian island moves to Naples, Fabio enters the infinite world of the Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied painting as master Carmine Di Ruggiero.
His exhibition curriculum highlights the tireless artistic sparrow of Spataro.
Launches in a Neapolitan collective exhibition in 1994 and in 1999 inaugurates his first personal title, Fabio Spataro is still alive!, At the H2 SO4 Association. Then they participated in collective exhibitions in several Italian and foreign countries (Naples, Corfu, Gorlago, Monterosso calabro, L'Aquila, Caltanissetta, Genoa) and inaugurated the Exodus staff in Salvatore Serio's gallery in May 2001. .
So a sixteen-year-old is back in the heart of the city with a new project: Angels.
The art of Fabio Spataro encourages a strong sense of humor because there is a glow in it, a force that surrounds the observer, appearing as the vision of the sublime that lands the man and forbids his gaze. We do not find the Angels of medieval compositions or of pre-Raphaelites, its angels have little celestial, they are wider enveloped by the bottom of a corrupt world.
But a sense of peace is transmitted by the same figure as the little musical angel, the industrial and standardized ones used commonly in the poetic compositions. Corroded, dirty, mutilated ones still contain a mouth of hope. They survive in a vague pictorial universe, trying to make room among the lumps of matter to impose on us, our sensitivity.
A work of art is born for a dual reason, both because the artist feels the need to convey a message, to involve others in his own world, entrusting his idea to an artistic medium, with a strong "private" A need to pour on their emotions their emergence from the inner prison of their own mind and soul. The artist, in fact, states: "The pictorial mass allows me to express my state, I try not to flatten the work, but to give soul to the work! [...] I am tormented to reach the line by giving this term A pure value of synthesis, simplification, passion for the essentials. "
Aurora Spinosa writes that "for Fabio Spataro the study of Kokoska, Munch and Klimt takes his job to take on a singular expressive power and is mainly measured on the subject of contradiction and ambiguity", a force I noticed in particular in some Paintings and cards, evocative, with an exaggeration of original and pure sign, expressionist force.
Resuming the title of his first personal, we could know that Fabio Spataro is still alive! And there is no doubt that even in this show he will talk about it.
