This occasion will set off the debate about the modern and contemporary art marketin other words, the fifth edition of ArtVerona. And it has now introduced important innovations. Instead of taking place in October it will open halfway through September and will thus be the trail-blazer for the major events taking place in the second half of the year.
It will also be taking place at the same time as the famous international design fair Abitare il Tempo: a juxtaposition that is all the more fruitful in the context of the current relationship between design and contemporary art collecting. Its entrance will be separate from ours but we will be together within the Verona fairground.
The quality of our exhibitors and of the works on show will thus be underlined; furthermore, they will be presented in a context of events which will demonstrate ArtVerona to be, not only one of the market’s most important manifestations, but also an important cultural and artistic event.
The curators who present and planned the event are both famous and highly regarded.
And then account has to be taken of the pleasurable setting, the easy way for exploring the fair, its organisational efficiency, the high number of qualified visitors, and the fascinating city of Verona itself: all these aspects have remain unchanged and are elements that have helped ArtVerona along the road to the success it has undoubtedly had.
