16:9 Videoarte - Emporio Armani
Exhibitions, Italy, Torino, 16 March 2012
Emporio Armani opens to contemporary art and offers its space for a big event, unique in its kind, built upon the arrival of new spring / summer.

The exhibition, titled 16:9, presents the production of six video artists, Alfredo Vinegar, Isobel Blank, Silvia Camporesi, Monica D'Alessandro, Silvio Giordano and Devis Venturelli.

Silvio Giordano is an acute observer of sophisticated, sarcastic and ironic when appropriate, provocative enough to stir debate and build towards open and constructive, reflective and lyrical in a precious state of grace in which he can create images of extreme delicacy. Are the three souls that mark his artistic research, always pointing to a constant renewal of their mode of expression. The videos presented are the natural animation of inanimate objects that take on a life of its own thanks to the creative act and demiurgic artist, which helps to reveal new possibilities and hidden potential use conventional and daily routine. Jordan invites us to look at reality with a look blasé at times, sometimes rational and critical, but they never forget the poetic aspect of real life, under the eyes of all but revealed only to the most careful and sensitive.
