"A onE project” is looking for artists whose production includes environmental site-specific works.

The artists, involved in this initiative, are invited to carry out one or more environmental works (related to the following artistic fields: photography, painting, installation, performance, etc), which dialogue physically or conceptually with a specific geographical location. These works must not be real but only virtual, projected exclusively as photomontages and/or 3D SketchUp models.

The aim of "A onE project" is to let these works and their fruition live only in the area they belong to, that is the virtual one, in order to overcome the visible sphere.

The website- www.aoneproject.com- offers information about the artists and their works but doesn’t present any image of the environmental installation.

In fact, while the artists’ and works’ data are collected in the website, the images of the works are uploaded on Google Earth in the place they are projected for.

The image’s title takes the name of the artistic initiative: “A onE project”; the website address: www.aoneproject.com; the name of the artist and the title of the work represented.

This parasitic operation towards Google Earth permits to fish the users directly from the ordinary ones of the popular software.

The initiative is based on the concept of mutual gain: the more artists take part in the operation, the more visibility will be obtained by this project and, as a consequence, by the artists involved.

"A onE project" is an initiative with no deadline: artists can join it any moment and there are no age limits.
