The traditional art gallery designed as a workshop or shop, open road with stakeholders and customers, has for some time alongside the Home Gallery. A Home Gallery is a space, a house, often an apartment, loft, sometimes a town house where the artist 'live' or 'work' and at the same time exhibiting the works and their works of art or other artists .
In spaces 'living' own, the artist welcomes friends, collectors, customers, people who occasionally want to approach the art, in a particular alternative to the traditional approach certainly understood in commercial sense. Often, the Home Gallery is a meeting place for cultural events themed to coagulate various interests related to art in its various forms of expression.
Start Agropoli (SA) the adventure of Home Gallery, the art project conceived by Lorenzo Vicino that is to turn a 'living space just' (in this case, a creative workshop and a Center for Physical Wellness located on two levels, with rooms, hallways, living room), in an art gallery.
Shop 23, is a Home Gallery as there are all over the world, where artists live and love among the objects that they sell. 23 workshop and a gallery and a lively place to live, evolving, changing colors and even furniture in order to accommodate exhibitions of paintings, sculptures and different performances.
Prince objective: to promote a reciprocal exchange between artists, fans, through the organization of events within the Home Gallery.
