The man's identity is at the center of this work of Angelo Toto
Identity that builds each in their own home , in his own house , but that is defined and complete thanks to the stimulus and the contribution of the external environment , that environment experienced on a daily basis , which outlines how the space extended beyond their home , other but close to it , and contiguous to it .
And ' the action / interaction / contamination with this living space , which allows the man to build solidly their own personality, and that identity ' social which is the result of life experiences lived in their community.
Identity is often difficult to grasp, complex , not easy to read . Because sometimes the space beyond , the public , surrounding , you can only live if you are wearing a mask as a weapon of defense against prejudice and ignorance that dominates humanity.
The face is the synthesis of all this, is harmonious reading of the life lived , where even the scalpel can not hide the scars of many pains and exciting memories that only the imperfections of a face can reveal .
"Space of identity" a place where everyone can find their own Kairos ( opportunity , occasion, time in which something special happens ) to meditate on everything, but above all to reflect on himself .
And ' my desire to identify this space with sculptural elements that define "elements of urban art " big faces that represent us , the other inside us, the multiple components of our identity ; us in search of our authenticity , which needs more space and new ways to develop in all its great potential.
