There is a will to disorient the viewer, a sort of necessity that comes from inside each artist and shows out in a silent and devastating shriek, where awareness of the function of painting and its expansion into space is the point of tearing of the self until its abolition.
Compared with the myth of Narcissus, where the realistic pictorial representation is the metaphor of falsehood, which leads to the painful awareness of the world around us; in the case of Andrea Kvas, Enej Gala and Valerio Nicolai, this process isn’t only about representing deception. It is rather a concrete form of action, a process that leads to show us the vulnerability of art and painting.
Despite the differences, the three artists are united by a powerful irony that captures the viewers in order to bring them closer to a seductive artistic language, subduing and taking them to an experimental dimension in which certainties and values are systematically broken and reconfigured.

Valerio has exhibited in Venice, Rome, Milan, Turin. His work unfolds like a puzzle of images that reveal the secrets hidden within the work. These are unknown symbols, living almost an own life, that are discovered, they tell stories, hear and leave only perceive their presence, largely denying the relationship with the observer.

Among the most significant institutions should be noted: Museo Marino Marini, Florence; MACRO, Rome; Chert, Berlin; Ermes-Ermes, Vienna; Kaufmann Repetto, Milan; Fruit Gallery, Rome; Jeanine Hofland, Amsterdam; Fondazione per l'arte, Rome.
