The artistic work of these men exchange and jostling with the times and issues of acculturation (Africa, Caribbean) and reveals the contradictions and violence. Both artists have each with its own voice: GANER with its objects "work-witness" of forgotten cultures, K-BÔ by its majestic and terrifying totems, a resonance of these forgotten memories.
But it has beautiful and bold, this is palpable poetry and stubborn belief that the dialogue of cultures and people, to humanism.
For this exhibition, Canopy claims once again its commitment to the Caribbean expressionism, demanding and persistent.
