Beloved Ones is an art multidisciplinary work that deals with memory, migration and roots. Past, present, gain, loss and everything that derives from the experience of migrating. Starting from a trip to my ancestors’ birthplace towns this work searches to create an intimate link between my own subjective experience and other’s perception. The travel itself works as a life metaphor
going to the 4 towns of my 4 ancestors, interacting with people and with the place in a very personal and authorial investigation. A cycle is completed in a third phase which is "go back to go forward." Searching for the unknown in a distant past and "identity", which does not belong to my personal memory but my biological heritage. A research for a belonging "otherness".
