I thought about this exhibition inspired by many others artists, small and major, gestures that go with us in every moment of ever day life. Gestures are often something unconscious, just even the slightest movement of a single muscle to make the person in front of us understand if we agree or disagree with him.

With gestures, we can emphasize certain moments, giving more weight and relevance, better clarifying the concept of what we want to express.

In the past, many artists in their works have entered, consciously or not, evidence of gestures, for example: of Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel when he emphasized the moment of the Creation of Man, showing the fingers of God and Adam almost touching. As well as the impressive embrace of Cupid and Psyche by Canova. This is also the very strong gestures in the works of Caravaggio, especially in St. Thomas in disbelief; but the simple act of pointing a mouse in the "Mouse Hunt" by Giacomo Favretto.

After meditating and contemplating for a long time on the artists of the past, I thought I propose the theme of gestures to the artists of our time will be an opportunity to reflect on a topic sometimes hardly analyzed. What is today, between love and contempt, the gestures that you do more to communicate? The movements of our bodies lead us to continuous acts of communication. The gestures of the hands and the head, intentionally or unintentionally, communicate one or more pieces of information.

For this reason I thought of a show that can develop and pursue this issue. The gesture has always been a parallel act of communication to the spoken language or even at times it can totally replace it. A theme that I'm sure will excite the artists for new creative ideas.

So, now I turn to the artists: what are the big things that move your feelings?
