Biography

Francisco Navarrete Sitja (Santiago, 1986). In 2009 obtained a degree in Visual Arts at the University of Chile and has entered a scholarship (Culture Fund 2011) to the Masters program in Visual Arts from the same institution.

His work develops from a reflection on what are the conventional boundaries that have been attributed to the photographic representation by means of displacement ranging from painting to visual imagery.

Francisco currently develops projects of video art and sound interventions in public space, teaching work performed at the University of Chile and is enrolled in the Masters program in Visual Arts.
