Biography

Frank Colson has enjoyed a long and varied career as a potter, sculptor, and fabric artist. He has served on faculities of Florida State University, University of Tampa, Penland School of Crafts, and Haystack School of Crafts at Deer Isle Maine.

Following the establishment of a studio in Australia, he later became a visiting guest lecturer for for the New Zealand Potters's Guild, as well as the Hobart Potters' Association in Tasmania; Interestingly, he built a large art-casting foundry in San Jose, Costa Rica. established an art tile factory in San Miuuel d'Allende, Mexico, and designed an indigenous pottery in Oaxaca.

Mr. Colson's extensive exhibitions have included a one man show at Rockefeller Plaz International House in
Tokyo, Japan, and series of eManuals on "Hand Made Tiles"
