Biography
Gianni Aristei was born in Todi (Perugia). He began painting and sculpting at a very young age. Graduating from the Primo Istituto Statale d'Arte di Roma (First State Institute of Art in Rome), he was a student of the famous italian engraver P. Diego Donati, professor at the Accademy of Art in Perugia. Since 1954, he was taken part in joint exhibitions and presented his own work in individual exhibitions in Italy and abroad. His long stays in Norway, China, Belgium, Uganda and Lybia all ispired his work. Currently, he lives and works in Todi.
