Artist's Statement…….Harshil patel.
My engagement involves amalgamation of three different theories, ideology and philosophy of Indian culture and materialism with visual pop-cult of contemporary world. .
The deep philosophy of Hinduism and Indian pop-cult, the extravagant way of materialistic window display at high streets like London, Florence, and Paris is highly contemporary in accordance with the glamorous western style of displaying objects on window display as comparable way at Hindu temple.
The fashionable Shrine objects surrounding us in our contemporary life. the sense of time and space comes within the assistance of symbolic Indian ritual art, unification with western materialism and consumerism methodology and the art of window display by keeping the heritage medieval architecture of India and Europe as the strong foundation for my art work.
Conceptual body of art work evolves symphony between the contemporary painting and installation in my artwork. That you can touch, feel, listen, smell, express, and interact with the art work; it is highly simplified through visual communicative language and intimate through its intellectual aesthetics language. which shall enhance the appeal of atmospheric art.
My endeavor on atmospheric art and popular visual art, I would like to bring the progressive global audience together to understand art through their personalized dialog and perspective vision. Conceptual body of art work evolves with deep expression among intellectual theory. I have merged traditional art and contemporary art vocabulary and have attempted to create universally appealing visual language through my art perspective.
