DS Allen is constantly searching for the unusual that is (upon careful observation) ever present in the usual. Using radical framing and viewpoints which draw inspiration from the early Soviet Avant-Guard to present an entirely new view of the urban environment, he creates new worlds formed from the everyday. In so doing, he presents what has been photographed with a new or altered identity. Within this framework, he simultaneously pursues various series of images, in an ongoing process of constant refinement.
