Biografia
These new paintings consist of various component parts which are constructed and dismantled frequently in the duration of the painting until a hierarchical order of form becomes apparent.
As with previous works, the concern for process and inbuilt structure necessary to establish a surface and colour in their own right still maintains a vital role.
The focus lies fundamentally in the need to orchestrate not only surface colours but also major changes in form, scale and movement into a definitive whole.
