Biografia
Daniel is a painter and printmaker. His art typically uses bright colours and depicts impish characters and nature in unique surreal dreamlike landscapes, most notably is the flying fish in his pictures. Daniel’s influences include Japanese Prints, Buddhist artwork and painters Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and Will Barras to name a few. Recently Daniel was selected for an exhibition by Peter Saville (legendary record designer), Dylan Jones (editor of GQ magazine) and Farris Rotter (lead singer of rock band The Horrors). The exhibition is called “Spin: The art of record design”. The exhibition will take place later this year in September in London. Daniel was nominated for best vinyl artwork of 2008 for his design for Nancy Elizabeth’s Battle & Victory album.
