Biografia
I was born in 1964 and lived in city of Balchik, BULGARIA on the Black Sea coast. As a child my first thought was I would become an artist, and next - astrophysicist. Now I’m living in Sofia, BULGARIA with my family and photography is very important part of my life.
I've always been interested in art, design, architecture and contemporary culture. I guess for that reason my style of photography is influenced by dozens of years interest in the fine and modern art.
I shoot Fine Art Photography in the following categories - landscape, conceptual photography, people in motion, street and urban photography.
I did my first solo exhibition in Sofia in 2006. In 2011 I did an exhibition with two friends in Prague and Bratislava - 12 photographs, 12 drawings and 12 oil paintings. The same year in April and did my second solo exhibition in Altera Gallery, Sofia. In June, 2012 I had my third solo exhibition in Sofia, BG.
In the last few years I primarily shoot with selective focus technique - Lensbaby and Tilt-lens optics. I’m printing regularly using Hahnemühle Fine Art Papers, formats 40x60 and larger.
