Biografia
James Cahill is a writer and artist based in London. He studied at the Courtauld Institute where his research focused on British twentieth-century artists' explorations of crucifixion and obscenity. His current focus - as a writer and a painter - is the afterlife of ancient Greece and Rome in contemporary visual culture. His paintings also explore the various historic modes and functions of portrait painting.
