Biografia
Plastic surgery, tatoos, masks and costumes… Christophe Beauregard’s photographs explores contemporary grammar of assertiveness at the time of social networks and cultural industries. He is a french contemporary photographer working and living in Paris. Trying to reduce the gap between documentary and art photography, his works deals with langage tricks, artifice and sensitive devices used or invented by anonymous people. His photographs are built with staged situations and photographic compositions. Thus his images are thought as deceptively sensible and deceptively reassuring.
