João Bello was born in 1978 in the town of Benedita, municipality of Alcobaça, Portugal, where he resides.
Self-taught, he began to draw the graffiti and coal at 9 years old. At age 12 started in oil painting, watercolor and acrylic on canvas and paper, starting immediately to exhibit their works.
Since early manifested a taste for Renaissance-style paintings and religious art, specializing in portraits. At 19 years old he moved into abstract painting, applying various painting techniques using different styles. During this period had made exhibitions whose works dominated the abstract.
Currently has vast experience in various forms of painting and drawing, creating works from art - sacred, landscape, portrait, abstract, surrealism, realism, etc.., Uses techniques such as oil, oil pastel, dry pastel, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal and graphite on any base.
At the beginning of the year 2012, he principally engaged in realistic painting, which already has an extensive experience, it’s the style that best defines him as an artist.
In late 2012, launches realistic painting projects with strong themes that transmits soul and a glimpse into the world, appearing figures with realistic and deep looks through a dreamy modern world, his paintings with modern techniques of realism convey excitement and vibrant feelings.
