"Reality has the structure of fction." (based on Jacques Lacan and Slavoj Zizek)
In the centre of my artistic research and work I ask for the facts of appearance in a philisophical and artistic way. I use phenomena of the everyday life to come make the many layers visible which structure our reality. The point I´m most interested in is the wrapping of not measureable emotions every person is confronted with. So my concept is based on a kind of fictitious dialogue that I record visually in my images. My partners for the dialogues are e.g. several philosophers like Lacan or Zizek and artists like Slyvia Plath or Unica Zürn. My leading thought is: you have to charge the void to create anything. In my abstract and figurative photographies and paintings I charge the void by disturbing the appearingly real balance and the fictitious inbalance by making visible the wrapping of it.
