Biografia
By working and exhibiting under the handle 404 (artist not found) I am attempting to shed what I feel is the distraction of working under your given name and all the assumptions that it demographically implies. For me, the artwork itself is far more important than my age, race, gender, pedigree, class, geography etc. I feel all those things get in the way of appreciating the work as it stands. That said, I am fully aware and accept that who I am cannot be completely severed from what I make ... but ... I am ever hopeful.
