Body, Movement, Reflections, Texture, and Water:

Abstracted figurative, texture, color chemistry and emotive movement are the major facets of my creative process. As a child, I wanted to be a Renaissance women and this desire has governed my need to explore multiple realities. Living as if always in an immersible environment using various mediums: paint, photography, video, dance, music/sound, sculpture, high-end media, and finally story telling. You name it I've tried it and learn from experience in as many aspects of life I might find access too.

Now, today as an adult, I have been working on encompassing those experiences into a global creative viewpoint and bringing it to the table of my creative process. In my creative process, I look to express the brightness or the deepest sometimes-darkest ideas of the mind, body and soul. Achieved by using color, light and the figurative while imposing situations, effects, and textures to emulate nature. I also use layering, shadowing and texture to emphasize ideas whether societal, emotional or graphical. Anthropology and history play a significant role in my work, and so does the study of nature as a whole and so do SciFi, DNA, quantum physics, and shamanism. These are things I obsess over, and I feel it plays a huge role in the how or why of my work.

In the end, it's always about having fun and stretching the boundaries as far as I can. My painting, drawings, photography, and video artwork play a critical role in my personal survival. No matter what or where I am in life, it's constantly morphing and evolving but come from the root of memories, dreams, and reflections of the past, present and future. I am an artist, time traveler and urban anthropologist plan and simple.
