Biografia
The human figure (figure from Latin “figure”, pretending to “shape, model”) is a necessary and essential theme in my work. The Identity, History, the remnants left by the human kind over time, are issues that are at the basis of my work, elements of which what I want to create is a meditation on the human time and the human space, on individual and collective memory and on the cultural boundaries at the end of a world.
During the training process of all my works the picture it transforms and changes form obeying its inner characterizing laws. And in the unique and unrepeatable deed of shaping the “way of doing” is invented. The Matter, as a form, it is formed in the act of shaping as a shape formed.
My work is a continues research, individual and personal, characterized and contaminated by my own memories, experiences, choices, interests and needs.
The roots of the "things" are sacred and important and the “things” at the roots appear to us in metaphorical and symbolic forms; as the footprints intertwine in metaphysical geometries, giving us back a cloth of visions.
