Biografia
My art is an attempt to slow down the internal pace of the viewer--to allow themselves a pause to reflect on the simple beauty that is all around them. There are colors waiting to be seen and brushstrokes and motions all around us; music movements waiting to be recognized are often forgotten by the busyness of life.
My style most accurately fits in to the expressionism genre. I am a self taught artist influenced by my favorites such as the Group of Seven, Van Gogh, Vasiliy Kafanov and others. I am also influenced by the beauty of northern British Columbia and have always felt a connection with nature.
