Biography
The continuous research of new languages and her interest in graph, photograph and video leads herself to discover animation's world recently.
She carries out her first shorts in 2008, prefering pure and simple drawing with the contamination of animated "collage".
Technique, nevertheless, is not prevailing over the more important aspect for the artist's research:the essence of life in brief moments.
In 2009 she attends a course of Stop Motion animation in ISFCI,Rome, from here the meeting with Plasticine, a versatil material to animate her characters.
In this moment Federica Ubertone experiments with animation’s film. She carries out shorts with traditional technique like Drawing in Phase, Decoupage, Stop Motion, Pixillation.
