"The architectural and urban space that surrounds us and the perception that we have of it are central to my work.
The rhythm and the repetition of patterns engendered by the architectural constructions, the apprehension and the correlation of the different planes/levels in space as well as the variations of perception of space based on the observer's point of view are all notions that interest me and feed my research.
The approach, the visual processing or the medium used can differ from one project to another. Processes like the “mise en abyme” or the illusion are also present in my work. They seek to give the viewer a feeling of losing reference and allow the immersion into a fictional world where the objects of reality sometimes seem to switch to abstraction. I like playing with notions of scales and perspectives and highlight phenomena that are beyond the eye or disorient it."
