about my work
My work and artistic process are characterised by focusing on a particular theme for long periods of time, sometimes up to several years, until a new theme inspires me and causes the focus to shift. Thus, my life as a painter has manifested itself in a broad series of paintings.
I have developed a special technique on canvas and cotton. A certain paper sets the base for the unique structure of the paintings; and the
colours are then superimposed using numerous, fine layers in many different shades. The combination of the distinctive structure and shading lend my paintings a sense of sculptural expression.
The current series of paintings have not yet been made public.
