Biography
Livia Garcia is a visual artist and a civil engineer. Born in Hong Kong, she received her BA(FA) in Hong Kong in 2007 by completing a joint degree course conducted by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University and the Hong Kong Art School. She then received a scholarship to pursue her MA(FA) at the University of Leeds, UK.
Livia's work often involve space and quotidian objects. She explores different media, including paintings, drawings and installations to contain and unfold the narrative of each project. She is also interested in studying how her other qualification of Engineering may influence her art work.
