Jonathan Di Furia was born in 1972 in Latina, near Rome. Since he was young, he has been interest in painting. Education: State School of Art, Rome, and Academy of Fine Arts, Frosinone, Italy, in which he attended courses held by Danish artist Thorsten Kirchoff. After graduation, his artistic production is growing, developing an extremely personal style, a painting designed to explore the underlying dynamics of human behavior, as well as the process of interaction between the individual and the environment. The characters are projected within a sterile dimensional structure, alienating landscapes and architectural elements in balance between real, imaginary and paradoxical.
Over the years, the artist participated in various exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, including 'Italian Fine Art in Bavaria', 2012, Eggersberg Castle, Munich, Germany and 'Fantasie del XX Secolo', 2000, Museo Civico di Palazzo Pretorio, Certaldo, Florence.
