Biography

My research interests include such areas as printmaking as a medium, the object nature of the work produced and a site with the primary focus on a landscape. I try to explore the subject matter of landscape as well as the visual perception of images and how those perceptions can be translated into pictorial representations. In my practice, I try to record and reproduce images of places and objects around me. I try to explore how we perceive and represent time and space, and also how we read and sense an actual physical place. Memory and space are two main components in my work. I want to create visual representations which can be seen as objects themselves but constructed on my personal feelings and memories. That is why I believe my practice is about nostalgia in making new work.
