Biography
Carla Benzing currently works and lives in London, completing her master's degree in photography at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
By constantly travelling the world, she finds inspiration in different people and their ways of living. Her work is defined by the central and recurrent subject of the observation of humans and their features, both individuals and society at large, with a focus on her own generation.
Her work process includes spontaneous documentation, collection and curation of subjects she comes across, as well as conceptual design and staging of her own visions. The result of this intuitive mode of creation shall embrace the present and illustrate a perspective on how we live, what we expect and how we present ourselves.
