Biography
Valentina Rosa is a young artist whose research spaces from sculpture, to installation and photography, with recalls to the world of illustration and childhood. Her artworks reflect on the concept of identity, metamorphosis, of personal and collective memory, gleaning stories and motif by popular and literary tradition. After the studies in art and restoration of ceramic in Este, she continues her education at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, attaining the Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Sculpture.
In 2017 she's a winner of the open call Opera announced by Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation of Venice, where she is developing a one year residence. Her works have been showed in various exhibitions on the occasion of Open Tour program of the Academy of Fine Arts, of the events of Bologna Art Fair and of the 57° Venice Biennial.
