Biography
Samuel Seban is a French painter and surfer.
Inspired by Impressionism, from a young age he has started oil painting following his father’s footsteps, a painter from the Ile de France countryside.
After a serious illness that made him endure pain and fear for his life, his passion for painting found an ultimate expressive power.
Art and artistic representation thus become a travel companion, a pathway to hope, a get-away and an urging desire, all at the same time.
The paintings are the result of a constant pictorial research that manifests itself through the attentive color harmony and the representation of light.
The paintings «Between Sky and Sea» tell about the elements that are dearest to the artist: water - the sea -, the air - the sky.
His pictorial style is free, passionate and universal. His painting is lively, profound and emotional.
