Biography
Hello everyone,
my name is Gian Roberto Tognetti, I am a polyhedral soul or primarily a professional painter, a poet and then a data scientist (data scientist, environmental statistical, medical statistical), independent of both thought and in the role.
I was born in the province of Rome in 1978, I graduated from 'Sapienza University of Rome' in "statistics and information technologies" and subsequently the Master's Degree in "Statistical and Decision Sciences", always in the same university.
In this regard, I can say that the union between art and science generates something mystic, an alchemy of the sense of forgotten senses, a common root of parallel universes, silences in search of a taciturn noise, freedom in painting an apple in the apple.
The illuminating vocation and the natural artistic predisposition in the drawing and painting inherited from my talented grandfather Artist (Nunzio), were my authentic masters, in my feeling surrealist path undertaken independently.
Oil painting, evokes in me, a cryptic full moon-free essence, an ancient alchemy of the soul that perpetuates through the eyes of the stars.
Regarding the drawing in pencil I can say that chiaroscuro is one of the artistic techniques that I prefer to create the surreal atmospheres noir, imbued with a poetic romance of other times, cosmic vision of being and never appearing, darkness that illuminates The truth of shadows without borders.
I quote this my poetry, as it describes me to be as a person and as an artist, more than a thousand words:
Eagle flight in the silent abyss of sun and moon,
rainbow feathers in memory of every overwhelming dream,
where I searched simultaneously to live in sunset and dawn,
that alchemical time of powder dust and crystals of rose petals,
piano without keys to attempt the perpetual melody and mento hover,
towards those peaks forever unexplored by every reason.
