Biography
CARLO MARTINI was born in Thiene in 1965 lies in Zugliano and works as a graphic designer at the agency 's Communications and Marketing RETTANGOLOAUREO Sarcedo , in the province of Vicenza.
After graduation he devoted himself to the world of commercial art , when this noble profession , it was still " hand-made " .
The world PAINTING sucks him in 2006 in a very special moment in his life when he joined some local associations Artistic and in particular the GAZ ( Artist group Zugliano ) .
At that time, the artist is also devoted to the techniques of engraving ( etching and aquatint ) with the Busato Art Printing Vicenza while , at the same time , study and experience the artistic career developed mainly figurative female subjects .
Carlo Martini , meanwhile, took part in various competitions both local and international graphics and painting gaining good acclaim and several awards ; attended advanced courses at the GAZ with Master Giampietro Cavedon until, in 2012, suddenly changed styles, techniques and subjects above , dedicated to the issues of industrial buildings and disused or abandoned.
His new artistic work is recognized " Old Factory Zero" with the 1st Prize at the 11th Regional Competition of Painting Zugliano of 2012 ( cit. Reason: " For the originality of the subject and the high technical quality supported by a detailed study , through which the environment of the abandoned factory revived with a new light archaeological site. the compositional detail and precision painting fully realized a universal message that hits inside ").
In this recent period Carlo Martini is dedicated to the theme described a moment ago with the creation of works of medium and large mainly using acrylic and mixed media on funds " doubles" with making prints on rigid panels and speeches " corrosive " devoted to ' abandoned industrial and human .
In September of 2014 organized the staff "Perspectives sick " at the Gallery of Modern Art in Thiene getting a lot of acclaim and appreciation.
In the following weeks , with some of the works on display at the recent staff , won a 3rd prize in the Chiuppano Award and the Pro Loco at the 12th Regional Competition of Painting Zugliano 2013 .
