Biography
Cataloged on ERPAC (Regional Office of the Cultural Heritage of Friuli Venezia Giulia). From 2014 Knight of the Italian Republic for artistic merit.
Born in Leominster (MASS - USA) on February 24th 1958, after his first experience in the graphic and painting sectors (1975-1986), he discovered the digital and computer art in 1990. In 1991 he organized, in collaboration with the town of Gorizia, an art-exhibition with some italian artist. In 1994 he created the first "Photomorfosis" © (a series of digital photomanipolations). From 1995 to 2007 he organized, in collaboration with the town council of Gorizia, the artistic project entiled "EurArt ". The following year (1996) the first Italian magazine for professional photographers published a part of his Photomorfosi©. The slovenian Academy of Art in Ljubljana invite him to organize a workshop about his Photomorfosi©. In the same year the Italian organization of photography, FIAF, invited him as a rapporteur, at the 17th District FIAF Congress. The Italian section of the AGFA group organized a very important historical exhibition, for him, in Milano (1999). In October 2007 his video "The earth" received the "We show Award" prize for the best artistic video online. The most important Italian newspapers and magazines wrote same articles on Photomorfosis. Now his works are usually contained in private and public collections like Isontina State Library, District of Gorizia, AGFA, SatelGroup, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka (Croatia), MOCA museum in New York, etc. hewas also invited at international workshops like Video Film Festival Under 20, International Internet Days, Pixxel Point International digital art, goArtonline,etc ...
