Biography
He was born in 1969 in Sesto S.Giovanni (Milan). In 1997 he graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic Institute in Milan with the degree thesis entitled " Well, then things grow older". Ingrassia doesn't only project objects and re-invent them (e.g. the camera). He's also a painter. "Elements, which are culturally and temporally distant, are connected through a very personal remake of classic art : this is the originality of his paint. (….) The matching of bright, clashing colours, like in the Mexican painting, is not classic at all. Ingrassia develops the theme of body transformation as the exemplification of the current cultural transformations" .The artist took part in many painting contests.
