Biography

Even if I've never done artistic studies, painting, for me, has always been a shelter during many difficult moments of my life. All of my paintings are fragments of me, that can finally come back in place, creating a mosaic that represents my life, me, and my inner self.
When I'm able to finally see these fragments on the canvas, I feel like I can make peace with them and, why not, in a sense, make love with them.
Painting allows me to give light to the shadows and shadows to the light, to say farewell and goodbye, to let sing all my pains, my distress, my torment, my failings, my fullness, my love, the tenderness of the flesh, the seduction and it's duplicity, the strength, the grace and the other thousands of fragments that are patiently waiting their turn to be reinstated and enlightened.
Art for me is precisely this: the best cure and the best teaching of tolerance and love towards ourselves and, as a result, the others and the world. It is the place where everything becomes possible, where there is no right, nor wrong, just freedom. It is the immense space, measurable in reality by a handful of white centimeters of the precious canvas, where there are no limits nor boundaries to the spectacle of those dancing fragments that every one of us has inside, those same fragments that keep trying to get closer to each other, not to melt again into one another, but to shine in a new "painting - mosaic", precious taken one by one, but much more valuable together, so refulgent once enlightened.
Art is, for me, the mirror of the soul, where some images sometimes became suddenly clear, whereas others need more time, patience, warmth, and courage.
After all, as I see it, the more surface of the mosaic you're able to see, the more you can be aware and thus free and, after all of this, you can, with more or less work, be happy.
