is fragrant

is smooth
is wrinkled
is young
is old
is thick
is indispensable
is shy
is obscene
is pure
is contaminated
is defenceless
is sincere
I think of the skin as being female
because it has so many strongly contrasting features,
and that is exactly the way I feel.
