Biography

I have worked as an artist since 1993. I'm a graduate of the Florence Academy of Fine Arts, and I have completed my training with study courses at the Picasso Museum of Malaga (Spain),at Contemporary Art Museum Luigi Pecci (Prato - Italy), at Pottery Museum of Barcelona (Spain),at the Archaeological Museum of Rethymno (Greece).
I have taken part in workshops with important European artists such as Luigi Stoisa and Rogelio Lopez Cuenca, and critics such as Sergio Risaliti.
I have represented Italy at the Young Artists of Europe and the Mediterranean Biennial which took place in Athens in 2003. The same year, I have been selected for the Artist Residence Program at Europos Parkas, Vilnius (Lithuania).
In 2005 I have been selected for the Artist Residence program at Taipei Artist Village (Taiwan), in 2006 for the Artist Residence Program at Gozo Contemporary (Malta), in 2007 at Global Arts Village (Delhi-India) and in 2008 for the Artist Residence Program at CEAC (Chinese European Art Center) Xiamen - China, and at the Open Art Residency (Eretria – Greece).
My art works is represented by the art-gallery Kernot Art in Paris and are part of private and public collection such as the Contemporary Museum Villa Croce, Genoa, the Taipei Artist Village, Taipei, Taiwan, GAM Galley of Modern Art, Rome, Italy, the Gozo Contempoarary, Gozo, Malta, the School San Carlo, Turin, Italy, the Foundation DARS, Milan, Italy, etc.

My artistic research is centred predominantly around social themes related to globalisation which are filtered and reinterpreted through photographs and video. The final result, whether installations or simple two-dimensional photos, offer the visitor the chance to reflect on the profound global transformations which are currently taking place.
The majority of my works becomes an observation of reality, an eye that spies or “scientifically” observes current processes: processes of profound and very rapid social and cultural changes, whose final effect and outcome are still largely unknown.
