Biography
The knowledge about historic avant-gardes and the twentieth century artistic movements, from Dadaism to Surrealism, from Metaphysics to Russian Suprematism, from Futurism to Conceptual Art, becomes the basis and the instrumentation which underlies a painting intending to embody light, space, vision, playing, dream, thinking and meditation. An emerging painter and architect; a painter of the emergency, or a painter of the urgency to communicate what cannot be told otherwise, using colour and light.In June 2007, Federico Carrera participated in Rome in the “Profumo d’arte” collective art exhibition (Rome, via Andrea Mantegna, 10, Italy).In October 2008 he presented a personal exhibition at “Casa delle Culture” (Corso B. Telesio, Cosenza, Italy).
