Biography

living and working in London.
I was brought up in a Christian (evangelical) home where one had to accept the teachings of the bible as gospel; questioning the faith was prohibited. This negativity did it violence; they tore the teachings out of context and in doing so delimited philosophical dialectics. It was this delimiting, destructive, un-questioning attitude that encourages me to question my own ontological position in relation to certain life-truth procedures. It is this self-reflexivity and criticality that has navigated me into the practice of making art, reading of philosophy, and politics. Through the activity of making art and reading philosophy I reflect on my ontological position; nevertheless I have no real interest in making obvious paintings depicting political signs, which I would say, could have a delimiting effect on my practice.
