Biography
Alessio Ancillai lives and works in Rome where he expresses his painting, poetry, video art and installations field resarches. He studied medicine at the university of Rome “La sapienza” and he had some experiences in working activities connected to human psyche research, he is inquiring into since 1996, when he has come into contact with the cultural movement “Coraggio delle Immagini”, a researching architects group that deals with the relation between line and image, linguistics, music and psychiatry. Then he goes on his studies with a search for the acoustic image and for the deep relation between sign, shape, line, visual/sound image, as deep human dynamics expression, proposing his artistic production during worldwide famous musicians concerts. In the past years ha is also leading a research on environmental safeguard and eco-sostenibility. Since 2000 he has exposed his works in many individual and collective exhibitions.
