Biography
My work makes reference to different cultures, icons and logos. All these elements are juxtaposed in order to question and re-examine the ethical stance of appropriating pre-existing imagery and cultural references.
This pluralistic framework that supports the simultaneous existence of different cultural and aesthetic values attempts to create a unique dialogue, which aims to be thought- provoking. Ultimately, the creative intention is to view the past and the present on a single surface in a way that is more relevant and accessible to a younger generation.
